Semen Implantation
To maximize chances of a successful conception it is well recognised that the surgical implant is the method of choice to maximise conception rates.

Transcervical artificial insemination is now been considered as an alternative to surgical implant a no general anaesthetic is required.
In practice, with the value of our stud dogs, we don't have the luxury of using the whole ejaculate. The surgical implant of a breeding unit (split) is all that we utilize for insemination with maximal conception rates and litter sizes. it is a very safe procedure that only takes 20 minutes and the bitch is awake and standing in about the same time.
The implant facility conducted by All Dogs Breeding Services, Dr Gerry King at GreenCross Moreton Vet Accredited hospital, consists of a fully monitored surgical suite, stainless steel recovery cages and post thaw LCD screen assesment prior to implantation.
This Veterinary Surgeons Board Accredited facility is now available to the Show dog world to assist with the monitoring preparation and implantation of frozen semen. It gives dog owners the peace of mind that their loved ones are receiving the best veterinary attention.
